Just a reminder that we will be having our training session for new referees next Thursday, August 26. Please let me know if you will be attending. This will allow me to have the appropriate number of players and seasoned referees to help assist.
Here is our tentative schedule:
August 26th – training – 9 am – 1130 am – North Smithfield Elementary (new referees mandatory – returning refs who want to have a little practice are welcome)
-Depending on how many people we will determine the number of seasoned refs we will need for the training.
September 9th – Mandatory meeting for all ref’s – 6 pm – 700 pm – North Smithfield Elementary – review game schedule for opening day
September 11th – opening day
Currently we have 14 returning referees and 3 starting out.

As you scroll through you will see other videos – I suggest starting with advice to new referees and then the hand signals. This will be a good place to start – U6 and U8 the rules are a little different so the rules of game videos don’t always apply.
